The Avalon Mystery School
offers a comprehensive training program in the sacred magical
arts through three courses, taught by correspondence.
The overall theme of each course focuses on one of the
Three Realms of the Tree of Life.
The Avalon Course in Sacred Magic and A Course in Sacred Earth Magic
are stand-alone foundational courses. They can be
taken in either order. The Advanced Course
can only be taken after the first two are
completed.

The
first course consists of twelve lessons
including a review / graduation lesson for mentored students only.
They can be worked one per month or at a slower pace,
according to personal schedule and commitments. The traditional
period for magical apprenticeship is one year and a day. The second
and third courses are ten lessons
each.

The lessons are
densely-packed with information and
exercises, beautifully presented and illustrated.
They are sent to you by email. You will also receive by post
audio CDs
and
taped recordings
for the VisionJourneys and other exercises in each Grade. On
completion of each Grade, you will also receive a silver pin or
pendant.

THE AVALON
COURSE IN SACRED MAGIC (The Way of Morgen)
This course
teaches the basic groundwork of the magical arts and offers a thorough
introduction to the Mysteries of Avalon. The lessons consist of study
materials and practical instructions in the arts of sacred magic, with
an emphasis on
inner journeying, ritual magic, seership, healing,
understanding and making contact with the Inner Powers of Avalon. In order to graduate, you will be required
to write a
short paper and do a practical project. On
successful completion of this grade, you will be awarded a certificate of
completion and silver Chalice Well pendant.
A COURSE IN SACRED EARTH MAGIC (The Way of
Merlin)
This course
teaches the
path of Sacred Earth Magic, in which you learn the path of the Green
World of Nature through contacting and learning to work
with the
spiritual essences of trees, plants, animals and nature spirits.
On successful completion of this grade, you will be awarded a
certificate of completion and a silver circled Celtic Cross
pin
or pendant.
ADVANCED COURSE IN THE MYSTERIES OF AVALON
(The Way of Michael)
This
course teaches advanced aspects of
the Western Magical Tradition, including the
stellar and angelic realms,
the Quest for the Holy Grail and the Garden of the Mystic Rose.
You will be expected to move between the worlds as a skilled mediator
for the Inner Council of Light. On
successful completion of this grade, you will be awarded a certificate of
completion and pendant of the Tree and Stars.
At this point, if the candidate so wishes, and if the Tutor and Director
of Studies are satisfied that it is appropriate, he or she may be
eligible to become
initiated as Priest or Priestess in the Avalon Mystery School, after an
interim period in which there will be more personal communication with
the candidate.
